Global Safety Manager (Safety Engineers wanted!)

  • Drive Safety & Health strategy for Beauty Care, maintain & align it with SHEQ  management, global teams, and stakeholders and lead the implementation using appropriate tools and communication.
  • In coordination with Global Head of SHEQ & Sustainability and other stakeholders develop, maintain, and support Safety team network across the globe
  • Build up Beauty Care SHE knowledge base and best practice sharing, upskill all teams
  • Continuously improve Safety & Health procedure and processes in line with Henkel corporate standards and local requirements
  • Steer Safety & Health projects, campaigns and tools, set up improvement initiatives
  • Lead effective incident/accident investigation, root-cause analysis, correctivepreventive actions and follow up
  • Conduct gap analysis, ensure implementation plan and strongly support Henkel
  • Corporate Audit preparations at respective locations
  • Align strategic KPIs and targets with stakeholders, manage reporting and follow up on the target achievement
  • Support M&A and integration projects from the SHE compliance point of view


  • University degree in Safety Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Chemical/Process Engineering
  • Solid safety mindset, entrepreneurial and excellent team-player
  • Strong analytical background and competence in management systems (ISO 45001)
  • Exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in an extraordinarily challenging work environment and take ownership
  • Technical skills, strategic thinking ability and excellent communication skills
  • Able to function in a fast paced, results oriented environment with a high degree of flexibility
  • Mature, loyal, ready to work in accordance with the ethical standards of an international company
  • Commercial-minded professional, with good exposure to negotiation
  • Stimulate effective work of the team/individuals
  • Working experience of 6-10 years in international companies
  • Experience in managing large projects
  • Experience within FMCG, cosmetics, food, beverage of HPC industries
  • Proven track-record in improving the company’s track record in safety, demonstrating impact on relevant KPIs
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects in safety and risk management
