Our aim is to globally centralize and integrate our Supply Chains across our different Business Units. Now an excellent opportunity has arisen to join our entity. The successful candidate will be a part of the Global Purchasing looking after the procurement of Sea & Air Freight, Customs Brokerage and Express & Parcel services with global accountability for all business units of Henkel.

What we offer

  • Global responsibility for Sea & Air Freight, Customs Brokerage and Express & Parcel 
  • Implementation of regional and global Purchasing Logistics Strategy and Projects 
  • Directly reporting into the Global Category Lead 
  • Development of middle and long term strategies to best leverage of the global supply base
  • Definition and management of the supplier portfolio as well as establishment of new strategic supplier relationships 
  • Maintenance and documentation of industry insights and innovations from the Sea & Air Freight markets 
  • Project management of globally steered sourcing activities 
  • Data management 
  • Operation with Supply Chain teams of the business units in order to identify projects leading to cost reduction and service improvement 
  • Management of the global net price development for respective categories / baskets

Who we are looking for

  • University Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business Administration 
  • At least 5 years of experience in Logistics / Supply Chain and Sourcing 
  • Knowledge of the logistics markets including supply base, general industry information, good purchasing practices and knowledgeable in contracting 
  • Excellent communication skills with influencing and convincing abilities 
  • Project management knowledge and team player attitude 
  • Strong Analytical thinking and conceptual skills 
  • Working proficiency in English is required, other languages are an advantage 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, Transport Management Systems
