The Laundry & Home Care business unit sells laundry detergents and household cleaners around the globe. The Laundry Care business includes not only heavy-duty and specialty detergents but also, in particular, fabric softeners, laundry additives, and other fabric care products. The product portfolio of our Home Care business encompasses hand and automatic dishwashing products, household cleaners for the bathroom and WC, and surface, glass and specialty cleaners. We also offer air fresheners and insect control products for household applications. Our aim is to continue generating profitable growth in the future through ongoing expansion of our current business and targeted acquisitions. What we offer

  • Working with cross-divisional teams and leading the global community in charge of SHE / Safety 
  • Supervising and leading project teams realizing projects aiming at improving the division’s safety track record 
  • Responsibility SHE aspects of investment project 
  • Steering of global activities and projects in safety, setting-up and maintaining appropriate reporting systems

Who we are looking for

  • University degree in Safety Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Chemical/Process Engineering 
  • Languages: English (fluent), 2nd foreign language appreciated  
  • Self-starter, business developer and excellent team-player 
  • Strong analytical background, basic competence in management systems (ISO 45001) appreciated 
  • Exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to thrive in an extraordinarily challenging work environment and take ownership 
  • Technical skills, strategic thinking ability and excellent communication skills 
  • Able to function in a fast paced, results oriented environment with a high degree of flexibility 
  • Mature, loyal, ready to work in accordance with the ethical standards of an international company 
  • Commercial-minded professional, with good exposure to negotiation 
  • Stimulate effective work of the team/individuals 
  • Working experience of 6-10 years in international companies 
  • Experience in managing large projects 
  • Experience within food, beverage, HPC or other FMCG business 
  • Proven track-record in improving the company’s track record in safety, demonstrating impact on relevant KPIs 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects in safety and risk management
