YOUR ROLE

  • The person in this role will support three attorneys in the Employment Law Group
  • The role will be based in either Rocky Hill, CT or Bridgewater, NJ, with the option to work remotely up to two days per week
  • The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, innovative, and organized
  • Excellent analytical, drafting, communication and relational skills, and ability to manage a demanding workload as a key member of the North American Legal Group
  • Highest levels of integrity and professionalism
  • Diplomatic, approachable, and possessing good business and personal judgment
  • Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent administrative and organization skills
  • Ability to operate well with a variety of personalities/capabilities in cross-functional teams, matrix environment
  • Support litigation management including subpoenas, litigation holds, electronic discovery, and updating the Company’s litigation management system
  • Support administrative and project related tasks as needed, including scheduling meetings, conferences, and follow-ups on legal matters
  • Assist with legal billing and vendor management
  • Coordinates and tracks a broad array of information related to internal legal department processes and reporting obligations
  • Works cross-functionally with other NA and Global internal teams to track and assist attorneys with providing requested legal updates and information related to department processes
  • Support ongoing compliance initiatives, including trainings and implementation of other strategic initiatives
  • Provide administrative support for attorneys, including processing expense reports and arranging travel




YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate or equivalent experience required;
  • At least five (5) years related law firm or in-house experience, with employment law experience preferred;
  • Notary public certification a plus; and
  • Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint and a willingness to learn other systems, including Henkel’s contract management, litigation management and SAP Concur systems.

The salary for this role is $80000.00 - $85000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range.  This salary range may also be modified in the future.
