What we offer

The Sales Channel Manager EIMEA contributes to the development of a Global Channel Strategy as representative. He is responsible for the development and implementation of a EIMEA regional strategy working closely with the Sales organisation and the Channel Partners that optimizes the value of the Channel business in the EIMEA region, in other words making sure Adhesive for Electronic Materials gets appropriate value for the Channel investment.

• Development of EIMEA Channel strategy based on SBU Global Strategy. Prepare and deliver communication on the strategy to Management and Sales organisation in addition to communications to Channel Partners
• Assess the Channel partners in the region for the value they are providing. Develop specific plans to deploy Channel where it benefits the Steering Unit plans. In addition, develop plans to optimize channel network to make it more efficient. Manage the specific plans to completion. Be the point of contact for managing Henkel relationships with the channel partners. This includes addition of new partners and separation of existing partners.
• Participate in EIMEA Sales Leadership team, representing the Channel. Manage overall sales through the channel according to the EIMEA Sales plan.
• Working with Sales Leadership, develop and implement action plans (campaigns, training, etc.) based on the strategy for regions within EIMEA and for specific Steering Unit interests. Action plans include proactive programs as well as reactive.
• Participate in cross Strategic Business Unit initiatives and contribute to the overall Adhesive strategy and initiatives as needed.
• Drive price negotiations with the partners to optimize business value to AE and service value to end customers.

Who we are looking for

• University degree, preferably master, in Business or Chemistry
• Industry knowledge : chemical industry, adhesives, electronic materials
• Min. 10 years’ experience, preferably in sales or distribution channels, and min. 3 years on management level & international level
• Good presentation skills for internal and external meetings, conferences and trade shows
• Ability to work on several tasks simultaneously as well as prioritize between customers
• Strong negotiations skills
• Structured, analytic & well organized
• Fluent in English, German is an asset
• Willingness to travel throughout Europe to customers and occasionally globally to other facilities
