The Strategic Business Unit Consumers, Craftsmen and Building adhesives (AC) provides high quality solutions for adhesives, sealants and functional coatings to a wide target group ranging from consumers to professional craftsmen, and markets a wide range of brand names products, like Perfax, Pritt, Pattex, Loctite and Rubson. We are seeking a qualified individual, responsible for target achievement as well as managing and developing excellent relationship with customers.

What we offer

  • You will take care of retailers shop visits in the DIY sector to realize targets on turnover , profit, market share and distribution

  • You will be  in charge of retailers by optimizing the assortment, implementing merchandising activities and Category Management projects, negotiating and managing commercial agreements on store level and selling of promotions and company products to our clients in the North Netherlands market

  • You will also be responsible of development and management of the existing client portfolio in the allocated territory, development of our business performance/position with our existing customers and development of market analysis and competition monitoring

  • You will cooperate with colleagues from various departments like Marketing, Trade Marketing, Customer Operations, etc.

  • You will report to the Field Sales Manager of the Benelux region

Who we are looking for

  • MBO/HBO or Bachelor degree in Economics, Marketing or Sales

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a commercial role in Sales or Marketing environment

  • Good understanding of Category Management and Trade Marketing

  • Experience in retail: DIY or FMCG sector is preferred

  • Strong focus on performance and results

  • Strong presentation, communication and convincing skills

  • Think in terms of solutions and feel fully responsibility for the outcome of your own job

  • Strong personality who is able to convert ideas into concrete actions and results

  • Flexible, enthusiastic, pro-active personality, as well as pragmatic with can do mentality

  • Excellent at starting and maintaining business contacts

  • Mother tongue Dutch as well as good English skills

  • Good computer literacy (experienced user of Power Point and Excel)

  • Driver license - B category
